The extension of the Living Room was inspired by the homeowner’s wish for a cozy corner that opens up to the lush garden—a garden lovingly planted and arranged by the owner themselves. To complement the arched entrance at the front of the house and to evoke fond memories of their time living abroad, the design embraced an English-style aesthetic. Brick was chosen as the main exterior finish, symbolizing timeless charm and durability, while warm wooden elements were added throughout the façade to create a sense of comfort and harmony. For the renovation of the second floor, the original space often suffered from heat and poor ventilation. Our design solution introduced louvered windows, allowing natural airflow and effective cross-ventilation throughout the day and night. The result is a home that beautifully balances aesthetics, comfort, and sustainable living.
